Rowan

Sorbus Aucuparia (loose) – 50g – $6.25

Rowan berries (also known as Mountain Ash) are high in vitamin C, antioxidants and has scorbic acid (antimicrobial and antibacterial booster).  It is high in dietary fibre and promotes digestion and lowers constipation. The juice is used for respiratory tract inflammation, relieves congestion, asthma and sore throats.

INFUSION cut up finely three berries and put into a large mug of boiling water and leave for 20 minutes – strain then reheat and drink

3 berries can be chewed per day and eaten do not use more than three berries a day

WARNING anyone with kidney problems should not use rowan berries as it has a high amount of parasorbic acid which can damage kidneys.
